A police sketch of Oberlin College student Janet Weiler, stabbed November 29 on campus, was released by Chronicle Telegram artist Bob Lynch. Officers hope the public recognizes the blond crewcut attacker seen near the conservatory and arboretum before the assault. The knife and bloodstained gloves were left behind, and Weiler, aided by fellow students, was taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital in fair condition.

Wreck Kills Grafton Man Near Norwalk
Samuel C. Singleton a 28 year old construction worker from Grafton died in a two vehicle crash on Rt 601 near Norwalk Ohio. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Fisher Titus Hospital at 3 40 p.m. Coroner William B Holman cited a skull fracture as the cause. Singleton left of center struck a pole and tree and was pinned in his car before being moved to R D Fulton Funeral Home in Grafton.
