Lorain Man Dies After Shootout With Ex-Girlfriend Wounded
Kenneth Clinton Miner of 1975 E 29th street Lorain shot at Miss Alta Lee Pugh 27 of 520 Park, then killed himself after Miss Pugh was wounded in a General Motors plant parking lot incident. Pugh had ridden to work with two coworkers. Miner threatened her following their breakup over his marriage. Miner’s death left a wife and two children, plus parents and siblings. The report notes Miss Pugh remained hospitalized in critical condition.
