Lorain Vet Kills Self During Drug Task Force Search
Dr Craig Talbott a 66 year old Lorain County veterinarian shot himself during a Lorain County Drug Task Force and DEA search at Lorain County Animal Emergency Center on Grove Avenue. Deputies used a stun gun twice but Talbott refused to drop the handgun and fatally shot himself before emergency crews arrived. The Drug Task Force continues the investigation while Lorain police handle the death inquiry.
