GM Official And Two Women Employees Die In Plane Crash
A heavy fog may have contributed to the crash of a Navion near Alton Ohio, killing Werner J. Blanchard, 48, GM Aero Products Division general manager, and two Dayton engineers Miss Vivian E. Johnson, 29, and Miss Betty Ann Charles, 28. The plane, missed since Saturday, was found in a cornfield. Blanchard had been piloting for four years and held roles with Antioch College and the University of Illinois.
