Amherst bank hit by robber in latest Northeast Ohio spree
The First Merit Bank in Amherst was robbed Friday afternoon by a man linked to prior heists in Sheffield and three other cities. He entered, handed a note for cash, and fled with an undisclosed amount. No injuries or weapon were involved.
