Hold Suspect In Bank Robbery
Martins Ferry Ohio December 5 Two witnesses travel to identify a man held under guard in City Hospital as a suspected bank robber. The wounded suspect is James Ha Gault 20 claiming Glen Robins Ohio as home. Police say his clothes match those of a robber. Gault was brought to hospital by Joseph Viola Jr after aiding a wounded man near Yorkville.

GRAFTON Ohio December 6 Contracts for the new 125000 school building as a PWA project were awarded by the board of education. Z J Hume Lorain won the general contract with a base bid near 97486. The T O Murphy Co Oberlin received heating and plumbing contracts with bids 17327 and 34875. E C Reitz Bellefontaine secured the electric contract 26260. Walter Jantz school principal and the architect will decide alternates to fit the budget. Ground breaking hoped for next Wednesday.

Huge Still Found In Mushroom Cellar Raid Near Brunswick
Federal agents under Elliot Ness seized a 500 gallon still and 130 gallons of whisky at a farm mushroom cellar near Brunswick. Four men, including Joseph Grillo 27 and Philip Corrado 26 of Cleveland, plus Tom Simone 22 and Joe Palumbo 22, were held for arraignment, with a 17 year old youth in custody. The operation involved 10 000 gallons of mash and an oil tank truck used for transport as agents trailed the truck.

Center Pier For Huge Water Tank In Ohio
A center pier for a million gallon water tank at Furnace and Belmont streets in Ohio has been completed. EH DV Lemmerman, PWA inspector, says the pier holds 100 cubic yards of concrete and resists a pit five feet deep. Twenty three smaller piers will support the steel framework for the 25 foot diameter, 25 foot deep tank set to hold over 4,200 tons.
