Oberlin College to limit women enrollment and wait list
Oberlin College reports that all spots for women in September 1920 are promised with 20 reserved for scholars at graduation. The college will enroll 1706 men and 170 women, with 155 provisional Freshmen and a few vacancies on a summer waiting list. Transfers from other colleges are discouraged except for women of superior scholarship. Enrollment limits under a long-standing cap constrain Arts and Sciences, while men may still be admitted after the women quota fills. A vaulting waiting list is begun and early applicants may climb it if spots open. The Conservatory of Music still has some openings.

High School Graduates Granted Credit By College Committee
The College of Arts and Sciences adopts a plan allowing two units of credit for two high school courses in the broad group of academic subjects if a student has thirteen units in such subjects. Domestic science and manual arts may be counted to ease freshman standing. The change aims to ease college high school transition amid pressures from schools.
