Wellington sewer survey shows lighter storm seepage
The Wellington Board of Public Affairs reports storm water infiltration into sanitary sewers is not as heavy as once thought. Root growth and direct home connections to storm sewers were noted. Reports and maps from the survey will be completed after Jan 1, with work to fix issues planned then. The board also authorized cost estimates for outside electricians to install about 1500 feet of overhead primary wire to the Cleveland Steel Products Co plant and instructed Cameron to contract for electricity, water and sewers to ensure funding is for longer term use.
