Judge rejects Starnes contempt request in parole dispute
Lorain County Judge Christopher Rothgery denied Robert Starnes Jr.'s bid to hold the Ohio Adult Parole Authority in contempt over continuing to treat him as a parolee despite a March order to stop. Starnes, convicted in federal court for bank robberies including a Sheffield Lake Chase robbery, was converted to probation in 2005 and awaits sentencing next year.
