Elyria to Seek Rate Hike for $270 Million Utility Upgrades
Elyria plans a single 20 year rate increase to fund two major projects: about 185 million for water system upgrades and 83 million for sewer improvements. City officials warn residents the hike will be higher than in recent years as they work to satisfy EPA mandates and improve Black River water quality.
