SDRC to cut about 140 jobs worldwide in shift to electronic business products
Structural Dynamics Research Corp of Milford Ohio says about 140 positions will be eliminated across 77 offices in 18 countries as it repositions to electronic business products. The Milford headquarters houses about 1000 employees. three months ended Sept 30 profit was 300000 on 1 cent per share, with revenue 105.6 million, down from 2.5 million profit and 108.6 million last year. SDRC attributed the dip to slower orders from large customers and said cuts are not due to a weak economy and it expects to add staff later.
