Florida gang member extradited for Elyria murder
Manuel Arias, 21, a member of the Grim Reapers motorcycle gang, was ordered extradited from Brazoria County Texas to Lorain County to stand trial for the July 14 strangulation death of 13 year old Christine Gerhart in Elyria. He was captured in Freeport, Texas, and held without bond during the extradition process. Gerhart’s body was found in her grandfather’s first floor apartment on Cleveland Street.
