DeMarco 28 found himself at the center of a publicity frenzy after Regina Leitner a 26 year old West German woman advertised for a husband in America and a Wichita radio station offered to fly her to the United States DeMarco said his visit was meant only to meet her and his girlfriend in Elyria and Greater Cleveland but German newspapers and local media amplified the event DeMarco who runs Convenient Food Mart stores in North Ridgeville and Lorain said Leitner is sincere but the decision lies with her and they may meet again in the future
