Atlantis astronauts test in orbit to build a space station
CAPE CANAVERAL Fla AP six astronauts aboard Atlantis assembled a 45 foot tower and a 12 foot pyramid from aluminum struts in weightlessness proving humans can build large structures in orbit. Jerry Ross Sherwood Spring described the task as easy and readiness to construct a space station. They return to Earth Tuesday. Halley’s comet may be sought. Mexico’s Rodolfo Neri aboard Atlantis joined the mission.
