An Ohio couple Mr and Mrs Dave Davis of Grafton celebrated a silver wedding after marrying November 14 1956 at Church of Christ Angola Indiana with their two daughters Marguerite Wisniewski Ginger Walker and Gwen Barrett and two grandchildren. In Florida Mr and Mrs Fred Binggeli of St Petersburg marked their 40th anniversary after marrying November 22 1941 at the Hungarian Reformed Church Elyria. They have two children Rachel Speidel and Caroline Weaver and six grandchildren. An open house was hosted by their children on November 22 at their home in Elyria.
Mr and Mrs Alfred Baumann were honored on their 50th wedding anniversary by their children at the American Legion Hall in Armherst. They reside at 43953 Butternut Ridge Rd and have three children Loren Elyria Shirley Klein Amherst and Carolyn Morris Atlanta. Guests came from Peoria Illinois Minnesota and Georgia.
Mr and Mrs Herbert Lauffer of 200 Bellfield Avenue marked 35 years of marriage with a surprise party hosted by daughter and son in law Mr and Mrs Larry Reichard Their wedding occurred November 23 1946 at St Marys officiated by Rev Mons Newton Mr Lauffer works at Bendix and Mrs Lauffer a part time teller at First National Bank with 13 years service They belong to St Judes Church and have two children Herbert Lauffer Jr and Sharon Reichard plus four grandchildren.
