Three pedestrians were injured in separate city accidents reported Saturday by police. Ernest Lentz, 80, of 329 Eleventh Street, was struck at Fifteen and West avenues by a car driven by China Lee Gardner Lorain at 11 p.m. He was treated at Elyria Memorial Hospital for hand burns and head bruises and released. David Kerchner, 5, of 623 Hilliard Road, was hit at Middle and Broad when he ran from between parked cars into a car driven by Harry West Jr., 526 East River. The boy’s father said it was his son’s fault. he received bruises on the upper lip. Jonathon D Walker bruised his right elbow after walking around a truck at Cleveland Street and Harwood and being struck by the right front fender of a car driven by Tod Erb of Lakewood.

Lone Bandit Robs Gas Station at Dawn in Elyria
Russell Henly, operator at the Elyria avenue and Route 254 station, was robbed at 6 35 a m as he opened. A medium build man wearing a red shirt and blue pants grabbed the bag containing 533 dollars, hid Henly in a back room, and escaped.
