Mansfield Paper Sued by Radio Station

Radio station WMAN of Mansfield filed a federal suit seeking 1 282 749 dollars in treble damages from the Mansfield News Journal owned by Isadore and Samuel Horvitz. The case follows a Supreme Court decision forcing the paper to end its ban on advertisers who also use rival media. The Horvitza were previously found guilty of anti trust violations related to Lorain Journal. WEOL of Elyria has a similar suit against them.

Labor Day Traffic Accidents Begin Claiming Victims

Mine Sinks Tug Off Korea. 2 Killed 3 Missing 4 Hurt

Steel Rods Fall From Truck Damaging Car in Maplewood

Two tons of steel rods fell from a maplewood Missouri truck driven by Bruce Schwartz. A Cadillac driven by R H Bibbee of La Grange was damaged when it struck rods on Routes 10 and 301. The driver did not realize the load was lost until overtaken by a motorist at Routes 10 and 20.

Lorain Seeks To Build Jetty At Lake Erie
