Woman killed as vehicle hits her outside Lorain fair
A 38 year old Lorain woman died after being struck near the Lorain County Fairgrounds by a hit and run driver. The suspect, a 61 year old Strongsville man, fled the scene and caused private property damage on Route 18 and at the Route 58 and Route 20 intersection before being apprehended. Authorities say alcohol is suspected and charges are pending.
