Suspect Arrested in Chain of Assaults in Lorain
Jonathan McCann 29 was captured by Lorain police on Saturday at East 29th Street and Pearl Avenue. He faces felonious assault and attempted murder charges after allegedly breaking his girlfriend’s arm and slashing another woman, prompting a protection order and hospital treatment for the victims. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force had named him fugitive of the week. Jessica Buckosh, 30, dated McCann three months and sought protection after the Thursday attack. friend Christa Waters, 26, suffered 80 stitches for knife wounds.
