Lorain County’s elections board says only signatures were invalidated, not whole petitions, in the effort to place an income tax repeal on the November ballot. Board director Joan Leyshon noted Secretary of State Ted W. Brown labeled some rulings asinine for rejecting entire petitions over a single questionable signature.
