Ed Farrow of Toledo recalls a near miss when his truck drifted onto the sidewalk near the bridge around 4 30 this morning. The front of a car was damaged and a wrecking crew had to remove it but no injuries were reported.
A health brief argues fatigue comes from improper footwear. Tight arches and rigid shoe shapes restrict foot muscles and circulation, causing both mental and physical tiredness. It advocates better shod feet to restore energy.
Plans are underway for the Pomona Granges county meeting to be held at Penfield Ohio on September 6. Wellington August 28 The local Granges held a very interesting meeting last evening. Severe matters of importance were discussed. A picnic is being arranged.
Plans include moving into new Grange lodge rooms over Walter Cole's printing shop for a ten year lease and a resolution for rural police on state roads to be raised at the county Grange meeting in Penfield on Sept 6. A social hour and lunch followed. Many Wellington residents attended the state fair in Columbus this week and funeral services were held for Henry Brouse, a Civil War veteran aged 82.
In Oberlin on August 23 Miss Catherine Fern May daughter of Mr and Mrs O C May of 197 North Main street wed Homer E Weav s of Warren Ohio at their home at 4 o clock Tuesday. The ceremony joined two families in a quiet neighborhood setting.
