A 52 year old Detroit man was killed when he walked in front of a car on Rt 10 near the Ohio Turnpike interchange at 12 05 a m yesterday. State Highway Patrol reported he was pronounced dead on arrival at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Ed-
Picture on Px. 4 die Dexter, 52, who was returning to Detroit after attending a funeral in Cleveland Saturday. He suffered a broken neck and a fractured skull. Dexter had gotten out of his westbound car to talk to friends in another car when the accident occurred. The driver of the other car, Terry, 22, of Elyria, was not held, authorities said.
The NATO Standing Council approved a Western disarmament package extending open ground and open sky inspection areas. Sources said the vote was largely formal with 15 nations quickly assenting after five months of talks. The ground inspection plan targets Soviet objections about attacks from unmonitored areas, alongside a two year nuclear test suspension offered at London talks.
