Six Man Football League Eyed For County Schools
Plans to form a six man football league in Lorain County schools for the coming season include Grafton Avon and Avon Lake as likely members with Eaton a possibility. Chuck Lamadue says Bill Ackerman will attend his East Bridge service station event 1 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday to discuss bait and fly casting with local sportsmen. Bes Friend, Rams’ rookie tackle from LSU, wears size 15 shoes made in Nashville. The corner backs Lakeview to win the $2,500 Cuyahoga Handicap at Thistledown today.
