Lorain County fair opens for a three day session next Monday with races on Monday and Tuesday including 2 30 trot 2 25 pace 2 14 trot purses of 406 each event and 2 14 pace 2 22 trot 2 19 pace 400 each event plus a 50 pony race. Automobile races Wednesday feature top drivers and distributed prizes. The midway offers attractions and school competitions while the Pageant of Progress returns Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in front of the grand stand with over five hundred in training. Aug. 26 reports from Camp Knox base hospital say 19 injured when an Army truck overturned on the way from the rifle range to camp. Three Indiana National Guard members were killed: Oscar H. Boy Longed For His Former Home
