William P Jones three year old son of Mr and Mrs Miller Jones died at Elyria Memorial Hospital following an accidental kick from a horse. He was visiting his grandparents Mr and Mrs Pfeiffer of Grafton when the incident occurred. Funeral services set for Saturday at 1 pm at his parents home with Rev Gibson officiating. Burial at Belden Cemetery. Relatives express concern over John Rush's whereabouts after his car abandoned near Cincinnati.
A Franklin County Common Pleas Court judge issued a temporary restraining order against Secretary of State Brown. The order bars returning referendum petitions on the Taft tax act to counties, prohibits placing the referendum on November ballots, and blocks public funds use in the matter. Hearing set for Sept. 11 to decide on permanence. Walter Stewart of Toledo filed the application claiming petitions are invalid and signatures insufficient.

Funeral services for John Joma who died at Memorial hospital will be held at Wilkins Hurst parlors Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Attempts to reach relatives failed and the city will handle the burial.
