Tropical Storm Fay drenched central Florida with over two feet of rain as residents contend with flooded mobile homes and wildlife. Alligators and snakes appeared in neighborhoods while police and wildlife officials warn of added danger as residents begin cleanup. Two alligators were captured and others spotted near houses amid rising floodwaters.
Police say Samuel Isidro Ramirez, 19, of Oakdale, California, and a 16-year-old Oakdale girl robbed at least six McDonald’s in four states in an 1100 mile spree. Ramirez is in El Paso County Jail. the girl’s name is withheld due to age. The duo, former Oakdale McDonald’s employees, began the spree Aug. 7 in Oakdale and moved through Eloy and Marana Arizona before Texas stop.
