Close Finishes Highlight Rainy Lorain County Fair Harness Races
Steady drizzle did not dampen crowds at the Lorain County Fair in Wellington as Earl Bowman of Medina left the sulky after a spill in the three year old pace. Linda Brewer delivered a brilliant comeback to win the heat in 2:12, with Satin Frisco by Leslie Haight taking second in the next. Button Up, owned by William Ingham of Akron, swept both heats in the 2:24 trot, while Foreman and Charm Boy battled for third. 4-H Band performances added color between races as complete harness results list winners and times across several heats.
