Fay floods hundreds of Florida homes in three counties
Emergency crews used airboats to reach residents trapped by rising floodwaters from Tropical Storm Fay. Gov. Crist sought a federal emergency declaration as the storm dumped up to 30 inches of rain in spots, with 3 to 5 feet of water reported in some homes and dozens rescued.
