Commissioners OK tax budget for next year
Elyria county officials project about 67.1 million dollars for general fund expenditures in 1999 with departments seeking 64.3 million. The tax budget, passed by the county commissioners, is an initial revenue and expenditure estimate for the coming year and notes carryover from 1997 and plans to reserve roughly 10 million for a new justice center.
