Lorain County ballot issues list filed for Nov 3 vote
A long list of 64 proposed levies and charter changes for Lorain County and surrounding townships. County funds cover TB clinic, public transportation, homes, mental health, general fund, education, and library operations. Municipalities include Grafton, Lagrange, North Ridgeville and Elyria with taxes for fire, police, ambulance, zoning and government restructuring. Local option Sunday sales appears in multiple precincts.

Four hurt in crash near Vermilion Two
Four people were injured early this morning when a car ran a stop sign at Frailey and Darrow roads, striking another car. John Sedley Jr., 38, was cited for failure to yield and DUI. Sedley and passenger Howard Pullin, 40, were seriously injured. Victims Marcus Justice, 20, and William McCale, 20, Vermilion, were treated. McCale seriously hurt. Sedley admitted to Lorain Community Hospital in fair condition. McCale in guarded condition.
