Junk-yard king who catalogues 20th century relics in Webster
Cloves Webster, 70, founder of Webster Michigan, runs a ramshackle store seven miles north of Fremont. Since 1932 he has collected derelict cars, bottles, hubcaps, and gadgets, creating a 27 acre yard and a living scrapbook of the era. He keeps inventory in his head and offers repairs and sales, with batteries a specialty.
