Flooding on Crocker Road prompts joint township talks
Liverpool Township Trustee Don Strauss and residents John Mario and John Sherman urged Columbia Township officials to address drainage on Crocker Road dividing Medina and Lorain counties. They showed photos of flooding and suspect a nearby swale is being farmed. Trustees noted lack of authority to fix the issue and called for county engineers from both townships to meet and assess. Private court action by affected property owners remains possible. Meanwhile road foreman Robert Rundle said tar and chip work on Osborne, Mitchell, Nichols, Jaquay, Folley and part of Root roads is set to start Aug 25, needing about four days to finish.
