Ride Against Hunger Offered to Lorain County Transit Riders
During August Lorain County Transit spells free rides on fixed routes for a can of food. Passengers must bring two items if they plan to use food as fare for the return trip as part of the Ride Against Hunger drive. The county commissioners postponed a vote on changing Internet and e-mail providers, with budget hearings set for August 23 to review department requests for the 2002 budget.

Dairy auction backs Lorain County Junior Fair programs

Gun raffle by Sons of the American Legion in Wellington
The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 8 hosts a gun raffle at 9 AM on October 13 at the American Legion Post 518 Main St. Tickets cost 20 dollars and are sold at Wellington Cycle and ATV Navarre's Major Brand Appliances and the Legion Post.
