Columbia trustees block hydrant plan for Big Trees area
Columbia Township Trustees denied a hydrant proposal for the Big Trees development on Route 252 near Snell Road. Trustee Karl Kretzler said no hydrants were ever authorized and warned against setting a precedent. The clerk will inform the Rural Lorain County Water Authority of the township position.
