County prosecutor seeks shutdown of LaGrange dump and Eaton shop
Elyria The Lorain County prosecutor filed two lawsuits in Lorain County Common Pleas Court seeking closure of a LaGrange dump run by Albert and Anna Koch at 14837 Diagonal Rd and an Eaton Township auto body shop run by Wayne and Debra Teel at 88 National Dr Grafton. The actions name the LaGrange trustees and Eaton Township trustees as plaintiffs with the county board of health also a party, claiming zoning and health violations.

Two die in stunt plane crash near Route 303
A PJ-260 bi-wing stunt aircraft crashed nose first into a corn field near Route 303, killing pilot John McCourt of Westfield Center and passenger Frank Lima of North Olmsted during an aerial acrobatics ride. McCourt belonged to the QB flying club and was at a picnic. FAA probes the crash.
