Man Is Committed To State Hospital
Lieu tenant Pat Crehan, at Elyria police headquarters, was told by a man claiming to be Elyria mayor to send lawyers to school and spoke of a date with President Roosevelt. The man was jailed and later committed to Toledo State Hospital by Judge H. C. Wilcox. Three horses and a driver were involved in a separate Cape Girardeau incident as a man testified about speed and risk. Meanwhile, Four-H Club leaders reported progress on standards of workmanship and leadership as Ohio delegates to a state congress were chosen, with two Lorain County advisers also to attend.
