Animal House lampoon in 1978 Elyria review
A Elyria, Ohio review of National Lampoon's Animal House notes the 1962 college setting at Faber College with the Delts, centered on sex, vandalism, and loud humor. John Belushi dominates with sight gags and a cafeteria bite scene, delivering a nonstop laugh pace despite a 15 minute filler bar sequence. The finale spoofs the Homecoming Parade and hints at future careers, predicting mixed acclaim and potential humor rather than Oscar glory.

Six Notrump Slam Play In Bridge By Becker
West leads a spade in a six notrump contract as South, North and East West cards unseen, faces a plan aiming for slam. The dealer should win the spade lead with the king, assess club division, and potentially finesse hearts after discarding the diamond ten on dummy’s club. If clubs prove 3 3, the slam remains viable with careful play and occasional diamond and heart finesses.
