Rescuers pull two men from burning wreck
Two Cleveland Heights men were critically injured when their Cessna Model 150 crashed on the Rt 2 shoulder near the Rt 254 overpass. James and Beck, both 26, were pulled from the burning wreckage by bystanders and rescuers. the plane, owned by Air Executive of Cleveland, was destroyed. FAA investigators would not yet determine the cause.

Murder and kidnapping charged in Bronx girl death
A 25 year old Bronx man Enrico Donis was charged with murder and kidnapping after the body of 8 year old Yvette Alicea was found in the Bronx River near the Bronx Zoo. Police said Donis approached Yvette offering $10 to go away with him and has said nothing since his arrest.
