Moscow August 15 Nearly one billion dollars of new business awaits foreign concerns willing to sell to the Soviet government. The budget for 1927 28 calls for half a billion for industrial plants and for extending rail, barge and steamship systems. An internal loan of about 150 million is planned to balance the budget.
C J West of the Bureau of Agricultural Economics predicts mixed Ohio yields. Corn may reach 194 million bushels with early frost damage, wheat averaging about 17 bushels per acre, and potatoes and hay well above average. Barley rises by one third to 425000 bushels, grapes stronger than last year by ten percent.
The Circle S band will play at La Grange Wednesday evening August 17. The Wellington organization has been playing for three years and aired several concerts on radio during the past winter.
