United States Will Lose Face If Japan Allowed to Keep Emperor

Senator Theodore Francis Green contends the United States would "lose face" in the Orient by accepting Japan's surrender offer tied to Emperor retention. He criticizes the decision as paving the way for a future war within 30 years and urges wiping the slate clean of any instrument that assisted Japan's aggression. He argues Japan may claim it never invaded and that the bomb makes their power dangerous.
