Community groups aid Midview students with back to school supplies
On August 4, the Midview Compass Committee and Grafton Midview Public Library filled brown bags with notebooks, paper, pencils, and other supplies for students in need. Funds from the Dancing with the Middies fundraiser supported purchases for over 95 students from preschool to grade eight, easing costs for families ahead of the new year.

Copopa student wins first prize with invention
Reece Schindler a Copopa Elementary first grader won Ohio’s Kid Inventors title at the 2017 Invention Convention in Columbus earning a $500 college savings award. He designed a weather drone powered by a phone to adjust room air temp with gusts of warm or cool air. Lila Leggie took third in the same category for an automatic dog wash invention.
