Grammy winner Eric Clapton, 59, joins LA Rock Walk founders from 1985 for musicians who shaped music history. A marble plaque with his hands and signature was placed on Sunset Boulevard after his North American tour for Me and Mr. Johnson. Previous inductees include the Ramones and B B King.

Janet Jackson guest stars as herself on Will & Grace

Still's art getting a home in Denver museum

More than 2,000 works by American painter Clyfford Still will be housed in a new Denver museum. The city has 10 years to secure about $7 million for construction and $500,000 annually for operations under an agreement by Mayor John Hickenlooper and Still's widow Patricia Still. Still, a leading abstract expressionist who died in 1980, specified in his will that the works go to a U.S. city that builds a dedicated museum.

Standoff Ends After Officer Shoots Suspect in Olmsted Falls

Officers attempted to talk Ray Klesta into dropping his weapon during a less than hourlong standoff. He fired at officers and then moved to a shotgun behind him before Officer Bakos shot him. Klesta died as medical personnel arrived. Bakos is on three day paid leave while an internal review and coroner’s inquiry proceed.
