David Berkowitz, a 44 year old postal worker known as Son of Sam, was arrested in Yonkers after a year of serial killings that left six dead. Police said he admitted statements and planned to attack a Long Island discotheque. The revolver tied to the crimes was found in his car.
Police seek 17 year old Yvonne Reglar of North Olmsted who disappeared Monday after noon from the Sunoco self serve station at 1899 Lorain Rd Fairview Park. She is described as about five seven ten and 135 pounds with light brown hair. Her purse and lunch were left untouched in the office.
In Cleveland, the prosecution planned to rest its case in the trial of Dr. Stuart S. Kutler after six days of testimony and circumstantial evidence alleging he murdered eight year old Arthur Noske. The defense may present witnesses to offer a different version of the Feb. 4 incident.
