78 Year Old Man Saves 2 In Flood
In Cambridge Ohio on August 19 a 78 year old man is credited with saving Claire Duling aged 48 and her son Lowell aged 11 from drowning in flood waters of Wills Creek near J C Miskimen of Plainfield. The man swam into the turbulent stream to rescue them after the father rode a horse into the water and fell. The two clung to a fence until the rescuer arrived and carried them to shallow water one by one.
