Seven arrests in Cuban cigar sales in New York
Federal agents raided two Manhattan businesses triggering seven arrests in a bid to curb Cuban cigars in the United States. Defendants charged under the Trading with the Enemy Act include Racquet Club manager Robert Gressler Patroon owner Kenneth Aretsky and Patroon cigar room manager Alex Hasbany. Four buyers paid 825 per box of Cohiba Esplendidos. All released on recognizance after brief appearances.
