American Legion Auxiliary set to install new officers
New officers of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 12 will be installed in a joint meeting with Post 12 tomorrow at American Legion Home 445 Ohio St at 8 p.m. A 6 p.m. banquet at Hilltop House precedes the ceremonies. Mrs Frank Shepherd will be installed as president with several other officers named. Special guests include Mrs Raymond Sloan department president and Miss Marian Krueck Fifth District president.

Gratz Wells Bride Vows In Gilboa Ohio Church
Sandra Kay Gratz and Larry Gene Wells spoke their marriage vows on August 7 at United Methodist Church in Gilboa Ohio. Rev. Larry Moody officiated at 7 30 p m. The bride's parents are Harold Gratz of Ottawa and the groom's parents are John Wells and Mrs. Wellington. Music featured Charles Nash and pianist Mrs. Gary Stewart. The bride wore a gown she designed. Attendants included Pam Hall maid of honor and bridesmaids Jarry Gratz Nancy Ward and Carol Ann Williams. Orville Nance was best man with ushers Leland Seeley Terry McQuaid and Larry Gratz. A reception followed in the church social hall. The bride, Findlay College graduate, is a teacher at Wellington High School. S/Sgt Wells recently returned from six years in Vietnam and will be stationed at Ft. Lee Virginia where they will reside.

A reception followed at Oberlin Inn. The bride, a 1964 Elyria High School graduate, earned a 1968 degree from Ohio University and works for Pan American World Airways as a stewardess. The groom, a Clarkson College and Syracuse College of Law graduate, is a tax attorney with Stein and Rosen in New York City. After a trip to Acapulco and Las Vegas, the couple will live at 247 East 33rd St., Apt. 10, New York. Engagement party, bridal showers, bridal luncheon, and picnic events accompanied the wedding. The bride carried her mother's white Bible, and the cake knife was an heirloom from Mrs. Edward Behmer.
