Traffic death in county rises with 37th fatality of year
Anton Sieracki 74 of Center Ridge road Barton road was fatally struck by a Stone truck on the road in front of his home. James Ring 31 of West 58th Street Cleveland driver of the truck swerved but could not avoid the man. Sieracki died of a crushed chest en route to Elyria Memorial Hospital. He had worked for the Cleveland Street Railway Co and lived with his stepson Frank Ratusz who runs a Sohio service station and Green Parrot restaurant at Barton and Cleveland roads. Funeral services set for St Helwig Catholic church Madison avenue Lakewood at 8 am Monday. Deputies noted this was the county’s 37th traffic death this year.
