Wild Man of Lorain County Captured by Deputies
The so called cave man terrorizing the sparsely settled area six miles southwest of Oberlin was captured by Deputy Sheriffs Henry Moehl and Gerald Nan after a surprise dawn raid on his woods camp. He, about 48 and formerly of Cleveland, lived two months in the ravine living on woodchucks and wild vegetables with torn clothing. He claimed immigration papers were lost and showed only a dull razor and a jackknife as possessions. He was jailed and will be processed by county authorities.
