Ohio Supreme Court appeal on Loram zoning referendum
A petition drive in Loram School District, led by Phillips's clients, sought a citywide referendum on a zoning change for the northern portion and a vote on the southern portion. The northern results were sealed after the election and later thrown out due to improper signature collection. Phillips awaits a decision from the Ohio Supreme Court to make results public as construction continues and officials comment on advisory claims. Safety Service Director Craig Miller notes end of Martin's Run litigation and cites state law on planning and zoning. Phillips unavailable for comment. contact Den Herkina at 329-7148.
