FBI denial over $200,000 offer to Scotts in Hearst case
The New York bureau reports FBI agents allegedly offered Jack Scott $200,000 and immunity for cooperation in the Patty Hearst case, which the FBI denies. Scott and his wife Michi or Micki held a Manhattan news conference saying they would total noncollaboration with U S government and police agencies while Hearst's disappearance and charges loom. Portland Trailblazers center Bill Walton attended the event and criticized Hearst coverage while attorney William Kunstler spoke on behalf of Jack Scott.
